Utah citizens can not collect electronic or online signatures for a ballot initiative. In 2010, the Utah Supreme Court ruled that the state must accept them, but Utah Legislators are using stalling tactics to implement the ruling and have shown little interest in empowering the people through e-signatures.
If you haven't already encountered one of our canvassing volunteers, you can sign a paper petition at these local businesses. You must be a resident of Salt Lake City (see the boundaries) who is registered to vote (if you are not already registered to vote, you can register at the same time that you sign).
